Infuplus
The Raklin Infuplus (REF T-S220) is a clinical-grade, sterile, disposable intravenous infusion administration set designed for routine medical care. It provides a closed, sterile fluid pathway optimized for delivering hydration, saline, and critical intravenous therapies via gravity.
Equipped with highly transparent tubing and a premium fluid filter, it minimizes the risk of micro-particulate delivery while giving nursing staff total visual control over the flow rate.

Complete Structural Diagram Breakdown
- Protective Cap & Sharp Spike: Ensures a sterile, leak-proof puncture into standard rigid or flexible IV fluid bags.
- Transparent Drip Chamber: Allows clean visual inspection of drop rates and includes an integrated fluid filter at the base to catch crystallization.
- Kink-Resistant Tubing: Flexible, medical-grade line engineered to prevent accidental flow blockages during patient movement.
- Roller Flow Regulator: High-precision thumb wheel clamp to dial in the exact prescribed drops per minute.
- "Y" Injection Site: A durable, bifurcated rubber/silicone port for rapid secondary syringe medication pushes.
- Male Luer Fitting & Needle Hub: Universally compatible connection point that seals tightly onto standard peripheral IV cannulas or catheters.
Clinical Instructions for Use
- Close the roller flow clamp completely.
- Remove the protective cap from the spike and insert it straight into the top port of the fluid bottle or bag.
- Turn the container upside down and suspend it from a stable IV pole at an appropriate height.
- Gently squeeze the transparent drip chamber until it is roughly half-filled with fluid.
- Open the roller clamp slowly to flush fluid through the line, displacing all air bubbles. Once primed, shut the roller clamp.
- Perform the venipuncture or connect to the indwelling cannula, then adjust the roller clamp to the desired clinical flow rate.
Safety Cautions & Storage
- Do not use if the protective caps are loose, detached, or if individual unit packaging is damaged.
- Do not use with whole blood or blood components.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperature changes, and high humidity.
