  • Tubing Metrics: Features a 150 cm long, highly flexible, medical-grade PVC line. The tube is strictly kink-resistant to guarantee an unhindered, continuous gravity flow.

  2. The Rotating Luer Lock Connector
    • Threaded Secure Hub: Positioned at the terminal patient end of the line. Unlike traditional smooth luer slips that can pop out under pressure, a Luer Lock utilizes a standardized male-threaded collar.
    • Leak-Proof Connection: It screws tightly onto peripheral I.V. cannulas, central lines, or extension sets. This mechanical bond prevents accidental disconnections when a patient moves or turns.
  3. Drip Chamber & Primary Spike
    • Sharp Air-Vented Spike: An extra-strong, beveled piercing pin designed to cleanly puncture rigid IV fluid bottles or bags. It features an integrated air vent with a hydrophobic filter to equalize internal pressure for a smooth vacuum-free pull.
    • Particle Fluid Filter: Built directly into the base of the transparent drip chamber is a 15-micron fluid filter. This critical grid captures particulates, crystals, or minor sediments before they can travel down the line into the patient's bloodstream.
  4. Roller Clamp Regulator
    • A smooth, high-precision thumb-wheel clamp attached to the main line. It allows the nursing staff to manually restrict or open the tubing diameter to adjust the gravity fluid delivery speed down to the exact drop-per-minute requirement.
